Explore Networks

Networks are generally broken down into the interviewee demographics, including geographic location (Greater Buenos Aires, separated cities, and rural towns), insurance type (none/public system, obra social (OS), and private), and general income level (low, middle, upper). Deeper analysis for the individual networks is forthcoming!

The networks are broken into four main categories

  • All Networks - Where large collections of interviews are bundled together. These include all users of certain types of insurance or interviewees from a given income level.

  • City Networks - Networks related to interviews in cities outside of Buenos Aires.

  • Greater Buenos Aires Networks - Networks related to interviews in the suburbs that surround the city of Buenos Aires.

  • Rural Town Networks - Networks related to interviews in rural towns and farms.

The researchers visited a number of sites for these geographic categories. The Province of Buenos Aires is made up of the suburbs surrounding the City of Buenos Aires (yellow start), a number of separated cities away from Buenos Aires (blue stars), and a large number of rural towns (green stars).
